2025 SYLDI Summer Program

Molding Leaders for the Future

The Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute invites students within the Montgomery Public Schools between ages 12-18 to attend the 2025 SYLDI Summer Youth Enrichment Program. The program begins on June 2025 through August 2025. Led by civil rights activists, educators, college students and licensed healthcare providers, the Youth Enrichment Program is designed to train youth to combat inequalities in education through CTI (Cultivating, Training and Inspiring). We will introduce students to the following educational modules through field trips, face-to-face, and virtual engagement: Civic Engagement, Leadership Development, Mental and Physical Health & Wellness, Academic Support, Career Readiness, Financial Literacy and Written and Verbal Communications – invaluable skills and preparation for emerging student leaders.

We are eager to work with students within the Montgomery Public Schools. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. You may email info@syldi.org for further information.

Thank you for your support as we reach, teach, touch and transform the next generation of future leaders.

Sincerely,

Doris Dozier Crenshaw Founder and CEO
